FOMC Meeting Update

Markets are mixed Wednesday morning as investors hold their breath ahead of the Federal Open Market Committee interest rate decision, set for 2:00 p.m. ET. New Fed Chair Kevin Warsh will hold a press conference at 2:30 p.m. ET. The CME Group's FedWatch tool shows a 99.6% probability that rates will remain unchanged at the June meeting. The 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.44% and the 2-year at 4.05% heading into the decision. The S&P 500 was up 0.10% and the Nasdaq 100 gained 0.57% in premarket, while the Dow Jones slipped 0.06%. In stocks, SpaceX (SPCX) rose more than 3% in premarket in its fourth day of public trading following its acquisition of Cursor AI. Amkor Technology (AMKR) gained over 5% after signing a 10-year semiconductor packaging partnership with TSMC in Arizona. La-Z-Boy (LZB) surged nearly 20% after reporting better-than-expected Q4 results and announcing a $300 million share buyback. Our Bond Inc. (OBAI) fell more than 8% despite announcing debt restructuring agreements. Professor Jeremy Siegel offered a constructive take on the market, citing falling oil prices, strong tech trends, and SpaceX IPO excitement as signals of broad investor confidence. He noted that growth is "proving more resilient than many expected" and that "the bull market remains intact." Bitcoin was trading around $64,856, down approximately 3% over the past 24 hours. Gold fell 0.19% to around $4,322 per ounce.
