TSMC Stock Surges After CEO’s Bold AI Prediction

Taiwan Semiconductor (TSMC) just posted another monster quarter — and its CEO says AI demand is stronger than ever. The world’s top chip manufacturer, supplying giants like Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), reported Q3 2025 revenue of $33.1 billion, up 30% year-over-year and above expectations of $31.5 billion. Earnings per share came in at $2.92, beating the $2.59 estimate, as margins soared to 59.5%. CEO C.C. Wei said TSMC is seeing “very strong signals” from its AI customers and expects that momentum to continue into Q4. The company guided revenue between $32.2 and $33.4 billion for the next quarter and expects gross margins of 59% to 61%. Before the market opened, shares rose 2.18% to $311.35, up from Wednesday’s close of $304.71.
