Netflix NASDAQ: NFLX shares are trading at fresh 52-week lows on Friday, July 17, 2026, down roughly 7% intraday, after the streaming giant delivered a mixed second-quarter report and issued third-quarter guidance that came in below Wall Street expectations. Netflix reported Q2 2026 revenue of $12.56 billion, slightly below the $12.58 billion consensus estimate, though revenue was still up 13.4% year-over-year. Earnings per share came in at $0.80, beating the $0.79 consensus by a penny. The bigger issue for investors was forward guidance: Netflix projected third-quarter revenue of $12.86 billion, undershooting the roughly $13 billion Wall Street had modeled, and narrowed its full-year 2026 revenue outlook to $51.0 billion to $51.4 billion, inside its previous range. Despite the selloff, which has pushed Netflix stock down 25.5% year-to-date in 2026, Wall Street analysts largely remain constructive. Rosenblatt's Barton Crockett maintained a Neutral rating but cut his price target from $95 to $75, citing a lack of clear explanation for the slowdown in revenue growth. TD Cowen's John Blackledge maintained a Buy rating, trimming his target from $112 to $100, and wrote that "the long-term opportunity remains significant, in our view, particularly given NFLX's multi-year lead in building out a truly global streaming platform." Bank of America Securities analyst Jessica Reif Ehrlich reiterated her Buy rating and lowered her price target from $125 to $105, calling the valuation "compelling" and noting that "at 20x EPS, and a discount to the S&P 500, we believe the stock underappreciates the strategic value of a platform reaching more than 300 million subscribers globally." Reif Ehrlich also flagged Netflix's "long runway for advertising and live opportunities." Netflix stock is trading around $68.87 versus a 52-week high of $126.71. --- #Netflix #NFLX #stocks 🌐 Find more market-moving insights at https://www.benzinga.com — your one-stop destination for the latest financial news, data, and expert analysis to stay ahead of the markets. 🖥️ Want the same tools the pros use—without the $10K Bloomberg terminal?
