Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ: MSTR) was trading around $87 at the time of recording, after shares closed up 12.6% to $92.68 on Monday following the company's unveiling of its Digital Credit Capital Framework. Benchmark Equity Research reiterated a Buy rating and $570 price target on Strategy, implying approximately 515% upside. Analyst Mark Palmer described the framework as a shift from "one-way issuance to active two-way capital management," giving management formal permission to repurchase shares, pause new issuance when MSTR no longer trades at a premium to its Bitcoin holdings, and monetize Bitcoin to meet obligations during periods of stress without being forced into a disorderly sale. The framework was funded by raising $1.15 billion through share sales, boosting Strategy's USD reserve to $2.55 billion and extending dividend coverage from approximately 10 months to 17.4 months. Analyst Ran Neuner of Crypto Banter noted Strategy sold shares at almost exactly a 1.0 mNAV meaning the stock traded at parity with its underlying Bitcoin holdings at the moment of sale avoiding the dilution that would have come from selling further below that level. The move comes after Bitcoin fell below its 200-week moving average for the first time since October 2023, a break that had sent MSTR down roughly 30% over the prior week. Strategy holds 847,363 BTC, making Benchmark's Palmer dismissive of liquidation fears calling the $1.25 billion sale authorization a "rounding error" against the size of the treasury. Neuner estimated Bitcoin could bottom between $45,000 and $55,000 over the next two to three months, citing ETF outflows as a historically contrarian indicator. #Strategy #MSTR #Bitcoin 🌐 Find more market-moving insights at https://www.benzinga.com — your one-stop destination for the latest financial news, data, and expert analysis to stay ahead of the markets. 🖥️ Want the same tools the pros use—without the $10K Bloomberg terminal?
