Short sellers are piling into a wide group of US stocks, with the latest screen showing short interest ranging from roughly 37 percent to 87 percent of float. Topping the list is Louisiana LNG exporter Venture Global (NYSE: VG) with about 87.16 percent of its float sold short. VG trades at [$12.97](claim:1), down [2.37](claim:11) percent today, with a market cap near [$31.7 billion](claim:17) and well off a 52-week high of [$19.50](claim:19). Bears have pointed to execution risk at the company's Calcasieu Pass and CP2 liquefaction facilities and questions around long-term supply contract fulfillment. Choice Hotels International (NYSE: CHH) sits in second at 66.69 percent short, trading at [$105.37](claim:2). Avis Budget Group (NASDAQ: CAR) ranks third at 58.45 percent short, with shares at [$189.91](claim:3), still far below a 52-week high of [$847.70](claim:20). Bitcoin miner CleanSpark (NASDAQ: CLSK) is fighting back today, up [8.19](claim:12) percent to [$16.12](claim:4) with 45.74 percent short interest. Dutch Bros (NYSE: BROS) carries 44.49 percent short interest and is also squeezing higher, up [5.52](claim:13) percent to [$63.61](claim:5). Primerica (NYSE: PRI) shows 42.33 percent short interest with shares at [$280.00](claim:6). Luxury home retailer RH (NYSE: RH) at 39.62 percent short is up [3.13](claim:14) percent to [$153.35](claim:7), well below a 52-week high of [$257.00](claim:21). Acadia Healthcare (NASDAQ: ACHC) at 38.56 percent short is up [4.77](claim:15) percent to [$25.05](claim:8), recovering from a 52-week low of [$11.43](claim:22). Voice AI platform SoundHound AI (NASDAQ: SOUN) trades at [$6.92](claim:9) with 37.90 percent short interest, more than two-thirds below its 52-week high of [$22.17](claim:23). Design software firm Figma (NYSE: FIG) is one of the day's decliners, off [3.26](claim:16) percent to [$19.14](claim:10), a stunning fall from its 52-week high of [$142.92](claim:24). With short interest this elevated across the group, any sustained upside or positive catalyst could force rapid covering and amplify intraday moves. #ShortSqueeze #StockMarket #VentureGlobal š„ļø Try Benzinga Pro FREE with a 14 day trial: https://www.benzinga.com/pro/register š Take your trading to the next level with our suite of premium research services and tools: https://www.benzinga.com/services š Find more market-moving insights at https://www.benzinga.com ā your one-stop destination for the latest financial news, data, and expert analysis to stay ahead of the markets. š² Follow us on socials @benzinga ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ š¹Free Benzinga Webinars: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQ2jOJNkDfI&list=PL4k0fH8EgI3YTdqniRmxrvz97w3IQ61rD š¹Benzinga Pro Tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2FaHhLIrks&list=PL4k0fH8EgI3YMwoBMFXGvVMkgixFymmei&pp=gAQB š¹Earnings Calls: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2-AoCw64Ok&list=PL4k0fH8EgI3buZI5529R53wJUNd9NS4_s š¹Premarket Playbook: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4k0fH8EgI3ZVRPM7INpG--GvohnBVTnT š¹Benzinga's All Access: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4k0fH8EgI3bQSn91atO-3lPT4V6Nwsmh š¹Subscribe To The Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Benzinga ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ā ļø Disclaimer: Investing in financial markets carries risk, and there are no guaranteed returns.
