Prediction market Kalshi shows a 91 percent chance Musk becomes a trillionaire before 2027. To put the number in context, an average American earning 100 million dollars per day would need more than 27 years to reach a trillion, and over 19 years to match Musk's current net worth of roughly 703 billion. Musk first became a billionaire at 41, briefly lost the world's richest title to Bernard Arnault in 2022 after a Tesla selloff, then reclaimed it in 2023 after a 92 billion dollar jump in wealth. With SpaceX, xAI, and Tesla all in motion, the gap between Musk and everyone else may be about to widen even more.
